Crowdsourcing gives students information about the power of the general public to help individuals and organizations with a particular task or problem. Crowdsourcing has been used in many ways, from identifying the protein structure in a deadly virus to raising money for charitable organizations. Engaging photographs and an interesting topic will capture students' interest in learning more about this subject. The book can also be used to teach students how to make inferences and draw conclusions as well as to summarize to better understand the text.
