Realistic (fiction) 760L

Sadie missed six days of school and has a lot of work to make up, but she isn't worried. Sadie has always done well on class work, so she figures this work will be pretty easy for her to get done. Included in her makeup work is a research paper that is due at the end of the week. Not a problem for Sadie! She completes her paper easily, but is surprised at the low grade she receives. Sadie's Incredible Essay is an engaging way to teach students about finding and using reliable sources when writing papers. This book can also be used to teach students how to make inferences and draw conclusions and to identify and use proper pronoun agreement.
