Wild Horses

Informational (nonfiction) 930L

Although horses are familiar animals, fewer people are aware that there are herds of wild horses that roam across the United States today. Wild Horses recounts the introduction of horses into the United States, describes life in a herd, and explains how a law has helped protect wild horses so they can continue to run free. Photographs, illustrations, and maps support the information in the book.
