Playing outside is a fun and exciting activity for students! In Blue, students will become familiar with the color word blue through a story about blue things that are found outside. Detailed photographs and repetitive text support early emergent readers. In addition to working on decoding skills, students will have the opportunity to identify the main idea and details as well as to connect to prior knowledge to better understand the text.
